No Landlines!!

Please note that the Telkom lines in our area have been STOLEN.

This means that when you call us on our 014 566 4781 number it will just ring the whole time.  We are also not able to receive faxes on 014 566 4604.  Telkom have informed us that they do not have the funds / budget at present to replace these lines and no commitment can be given as to when they will be replaced.

Solution: We are exploring wireless options but in the meantime we have activated a mobile number for the office.

You can reach Tapologo on 076 830 4007

Thank you NIVEA!

Thank you Nivea!

Recently NIVEA donated 120 gift packs to the Tapologo carers in recognition of the selfless work that they undertake in caring for our patients and vulnerable children.  Tapologo has 2000 patients and they get regular visits in their homes. The Home Based Carers assist them as much as possible to stay healthy and deal with challenges they may be facing.  The Child Carers also assist with the care of some 600 children in three areas around Rustenburg.

Thank you Nivea for caring!

Veg garden produces again!

Celebrations all round as the first harvest of the “new”garden is admired.  This follows a very difficult 2013 which saw Tapologo bent under numerous funding cut-backs which led, amongst other things, to the suspension of the vegetable garden activities.  Thanks to support from the North West Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as well as the Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP), new life was breathed into the vegetable garden at the beginning of 2014.  After preparations, planting and months of care, the first vegetables were harvested.  These vegetables will be used by the Tapologo Orphan and Vulnerable Children’s Programme where we feed between 150 to 180 children daily.
